For simplification purposes the "Vardeman" spelling will be used in this website as our default spelling when referencing the family in general. Note: Through the years our family name has been variously spelled Vardaman, Vardeman and Vardiman. Occasionally for the same individual and is true right up to the current generation. On rare occasions it may even be seen as Vardemon, Vardman, Verdiman or Verdeman. However spelled, it is the same family. |
