John II & Elizabeth
Vardeman), served in the American Revolution from Lincoln County,
Virginia, and from Kentucky County, Virginia, where he was a Private in
Captain John Martin’s Company ordered from Lincoln County under the
command of Col. Stephen Trigg. 1781.
