Newspaper Article 1924 03/22 Indiana Evening Gazette Indiana
Newspaper Article 1924 03/22 Indiana Evening Gazette Indiana
Part 2
A salesman should:
3. Study his goods
4. Acquire interesting information to arouse and enthuse the customer
Two questions to ask when studying your goods:
1. What is the thing? What is it composed of and how is it made?
2. What is it for and what are its relations to the customer?
Finally, it is human tendency to reject things one does not understand. The salesman must know his product well enough to help the customer understand.
