| Obituary 2008 06/06 Pearl Caruso - Fresno, California
Pearl was born the youngest of eight children on September 8, 1902, in Ash Flat, Arkansas. She lived several years in the Bay area where she enjoyed working in the retail clothing industry. She was also a manager at Lerner's for 15 years. The family wishes to express appreciation to granddaughters, Vicky Syemour and Judy Williams for their love and caring of grandma. A million thanks to Manning Gardens and Joyce for taking special care of Pearl and to Nancy Hinds Hospice for all the dedicated work they do. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Caruso; and two daughters, Ruth Fansler and Teeney Simon. She is survived by four children, Joyce Flynn of Grass Valley, CA, Richard Fansler of Fresno, CA, Barbara Merkt of San Lorenzo, CA and Roy Fansler of Corning, CA; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
