Enlisted Sept 1778 as Private, under Captain John Holder, NC
Served as Lieut. under Captain William Hogan and Capt. Robert Johnston.
Engaged in the Siege of Bryant's Station and in General Clark's expedition
Volunteered in Rowan County, NC. Discharged in fall 1783.
Applied for and received pension at age 77 on Dec. 17, 1832 when resident of Shelby County, KY.
