Jesse Harris "Jack" Vardaman Jr.'s Research 


Jack Vardaman, WWII Veteran and family genealogist, lived to 95 years old.  He researched the Vardaman/Vardeman/Vardiman family and off-shoots since he retired from the IRS.  His specialty was straightening out the original family lines from the early 1700s.

The majority of Vardaman family members are in Volume 19 on Coosa County and Volume 37 for Jefferson County. All 70 of the books in the Alabama series are in the Switzer library He also contributed some articles for the genealogical magazine called, "Cherish."
